Founded in 2020 in Haifa, CHORNITSA fuses the heavy guitar riffs of hard rock with the rich melodies of Ukrainian folk, built around a commanding female voice and intense, melodic guitar solos.

The name means “blueberry” in Ukrainian, a symbol of the band's connection to nature and its deep roots in Ukrainian heritage. At the heart of the band is the bond between deep, meaningful Ukrainian lyrics and the raw, unfiltered energy of their live shows. For six years CHORNITSA has kept a steady creative pace, releasing music regularly and playing stages across Europe, including Poland, France and Bulgaria.
